I’m Camila Maira, I was born in San Antonio, Chile , and that’s probably why I’ve always felt close to the sea, summer and the beach . I’m drawn to things that mix sensitivity and curiosity: art, music, learning by doing, and getting my hands into new projects just to understand how they work.

I studied Graphic Design and later Front-end Development at Laboratoria, but my path has also taken me through screen printing , graffiti , handpoke , and media arts ↗ , as well as small DIY experiments, like building a radio to learn how to solder. I’m interested in connecting worlds that can sometimes seem separate from one another: the visual, the technical, and the hands-on.

Outside of work, I’m queer, I’ve been veggie for over a decade, and I enjoy riding my bike , drinking coffee, listening to music, making more time to read, and being surrounded by animals. I lived in Brazil for over a year , I have three cats and, even though I love color, I almost always dress in black.
